Triumph Technology signs strategic cooperation agreement with AGC

On November 29, organized by China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China's Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese Embassy in Japan, Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Japan-China Economic Association (JCEA), the "9th China-Japan Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Forum" was held in Tokyo. During the forum, Triumph Technology and AGC signed a strategic cooperation agreement on energy conservation and emission reduction upgrading and renovation in the field of glass manufacturing.

Under the agreement, the two sides will deepen technical innovation and jointly develop the Chinese market and overseas markets through advantage complementation, so as to contribute to the sustainable development of the global glass industry. Peng Shou, president of Triumph Technology, delivered a speech as the only enterprise representative from China. He spoke highly of the forum's positive role in promoting China-Japan economic and trade exchanges, summarized CNBM's business development in the field of building material energy conservation and environmental protection, introduced the situation of cooperation with Japanese enterprises, especially multinational enterprises such as Mitsubishi and AGC, underlined the development concept of "innovation, coordination, green, opening and sharing", offered practical and feasible advice on the in-depth cooperation between China and Japan, and called on Chinese and Japanese entrepreneurs to assume more social responsibility for global environment improvement.

Among some 900 attendees were government officials, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from China and Japan, including Zhang Yong, vice chairman of NDRC; Gao Yan, China's vice minister of commerce; Cheng Yonghua, Chinese ambassador to Japan; Motoo Hayashi, Japan's minister of economy, trade and industry; Marukawa Tamayo, Japan's minister of the environment; Yosuke Takagi, Japan's state minister of economy, trade and industry and Shoji Muneoka, president of JCEA. The two sides exchanged ideas on six issues, including energy conservation policies for key energy-consuming entities, the coordinated development of new energy vehicles and infrastructure, measures for constructing and advancing the resource recycling system, green urban management, clean coal technology and thermal power generation, and long-term trade between China and Japan.

Yao Dan, deputy chief engineer of China Triumph International Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CTIEC) and general manager of Shanghai Triumph Energy Conservation Engineering Co., Ltd., was also present and made in-depth communication with relevant representatives.
